Roee Hadar
Building the AI and computer vision infrastructure behind PEBALL.
Engineer from the Technion.
Roee studied at the Technion — Israel's leading engineering university — with a deep specialization in AI and computer vision.
His training combined classical engineering rigor with modern machine learning, giving him the toolkit to take ideas from research notebooks all the way to production systems.
Applied AI and computer vision.
Professionally, Roee has worked across AI systems, computer vision pipelines, prompt engineering, and applied machine learning in real product environments — not just as theory.
He cares about technology that actually ships and holds up under messy, real-world inputs.
What he leads at PEBALL.
Roee leads the architecture and development of PEBALL's AI and computer vision systems — the technical core of the platform.
He is building computer vision pipelines that can analyze sports activity in real-world, uncontrolled environments — the kind non-professional athletes actually play in: imperfect lighting, casual camera angles, varied courts.
A working model already exists and continues to improve in accuracy and scalability after solving multiple technical challenges unique to sports environments.
Why he's building this.
Roee believes computer vision should leave the lab and meet players where they are — on real courts, with real games. The hard part is not analyzing perfect footage, it's analyzing the messy reality of weekend play.
That's the problem worth solving, and it's the foundation everything else at PEBALL is built on.
